Our organization is pleased to announce the opening of the Prescott-Russell Genealogy Centre at our office in Hawkesbury located at 151 Main Street East, suite 112 .
Data is collected and entered into the Family Tree Maker software. Online research is then conducted at the subscriber-only Ancestry.com. Ancestry is a website which allows subscribers to research historical records such as census and voter lists, birth, marriage, death records, immigration and emigration records, military records and much more.
Each participant completing his or her family tree will receive a four-generation pedigree chart, a CD with their family tree, a booklet containing the names from their tree and a folder with the research documentation that we have compiled.
We also invite participants to bring photos of their ancestors so they can be scanned and incorporated into their family tree.
FEES:
Member: $10.00
Individual Non-Member: $20.00
Senior Non-Member: $15.00
NOTE : All Non-Member prices include a one year free membership with the Friends.

Hours
The Macdonell-Williamson House will be open weekends during July and August,
beginning July 5/6 (Open House) and closing August 30/31. The hours: Noon to
5pm. Tea Room - 1pm to 4:30pm.
